WOLVERINE blend: what it contains and what is known

In short

WOLVERINE is a peptide blend sold online that sellers say contains BPC-157 and TB-500. We know of no published study of the product itself.

What is the WOLVERINE blend?

The WOLVERINE blend’s composition rests on sellers’ declarations. The content has not been tested by an independent laboratory [10]E, not peer-reviewed.

WOLVERINE is the name of a peptide blend sold online. On the product pages of six sellers (13 Oct 2026) all declared BPC-157 and TB-500 as the components. Three also gave the amounts, and all three gave a 1:1 ratio: 5 mg of each in a 10 mg vial and 10 mg of each in a 20 mg vial [10]E, not peer-reviewed. Sellers are not named or linked.

The components sellers declare are these two:

Fimea gives both as example names under which peptide products are sold online. Some such products are labelled "for research use only" [1]regulator. Blends in general: Peptide blends: what is in the vial and why the seller's label is not enough. All blends: Blends.

Has the WOLVERINE blend been studied?

Not as far as we know (see In short above).

What is known about the single components

The results below concern single components, not the WOLVERINE product.

Evidence on single substances does not transfer to a blend. When the blend's actual content, amounts and purity have not been independently tested, nothing about its effects can be inferred from these studies.

Who studies the WOLVERINE blend?

No one that we know of has published research on this product (see above).

What side effects can the WOLVERINE blend have?

There are no data on the blend's harms, because the blend has not been studied. According to Fimea, there is no reliable information on the content, quality and safety of products sold as peptides, and their effect on the body may be unpredictable [1]regulator.

What users report. In the Reddit accounts we compiled (not research), 27 of 71 people (38%) reported some harm, most often: mood or anxiety (8, 11%), fatigue or lethargy (7, 10%) and sleep problems (5, 7%). People tend to post when something goes wrong, so this share does not tell how common harms are. The figures are about the WOLVERINE blend as sold or as the writer named it, not about its single substances, and the blend's contents were not verified. 27 people (38%) used other substances at the same time. The harms in detail: WOLVERINE blend user experiences.

Risks of the combination, based on the declared components

The safety of using the two substances together has not been studied in controlled human trials [2]C [9]B. When the content and amounts have not been independently tested, the risks of the combination cannot be assessed. More: Side effects and safety.

WOLVERINE blend dosage in studies

There is no studied dose for the blend, and the ratio sellers declare has not been independently tested [10]E, not peer-reviewed. The only combination study was done in rats with injections into the abdominal cavity, and it is not a study of the WOLVERINE product [2]C. Study doses of single substances: BPC-157 and TB-500. They are not recommendations. The blend itself has no dose page of its own.

Is the WOLVERINE blend legal in Finland?

Both substances that sellers declare are named in the Finnish medicines list [7]regulator.

This is not legal advice. Disclaimer.

Is the WOLVERINE blend doping?

Yes, if the vial holds what sellers declare. On the WADA 2026 Prohibited List, BPC-157 falls under class S0 (non-approved substances), and thymosin beta-4 and its derivatives, for example TB-500, under class S2. Both classes are prohibited at all times, including out of competition [8]regulator. In a blend, one prohibited component is enough.

How to assess a WOLVERINE product

A seller's declared composition does not tell the buyer which substances are actually in the vial, how much of each, or whether something else is in it. According to Fimea, an unauthorised product may contain a different substance than the packaging states [1]regulator.

A certificate of analysis (COA) for a blend should identify each component separately by mass spectrometry (MS), state the amount of each, and refer to the same batch as the vial being sold. The FDA also points to peptide-related impurities and difficulty characterising the active ingredient [6]regulator. For injectables, endotoxins are a particular risk [1]regulator. FAQ

What does the WOLVERINE blend contain?

The composition sellers declare is usually BPC-157 and TB-500 in a 1:1 ratio, for example 10 mg of each in a 20 mg vial. The content has not been tested by an independent laboratory, and a seller's declaration does not guarantee it [10].

Has the WOLVERINE blend been studied?

Not as far as we know: we know of no published study of this product. A combination of BPC-157 and TB-500 has been studied in rats, but that is not the same as this product [2]C.

Does BPC-157 plus TB-500 work better than either alone?

Not in rats. In an Achilles tendon study the combination gave no added benefit over either substance alone [2]C. In humans we found only a series of four knee injection patients with no comparison group [9]B.

Is WOLVERINE legal in Finland?

Fimea warns against injectable peptides bought online, and BPC 157 and TB-500 are named in the medicines list [1, 7]regulator. The blend's actual content has not been independently tested. This is not legal advice.

Are BPC-157 and TB-500 banned in sport?

Yes. On the WADA list BPC-157 is in class S0 and TB-500 in class S2, and both are prohibited at all times [8]regulator.

What do users themselves report about the WOLVERINE blend?

In the Reddit accounts of 71 people we compiled (not research), 40 (56%) reported some benefit and 27 (38%) some harm. The accounts are self-selected and prove neither that it works nor that it is safe: WOLVERINE blend user experiences.
