CJC-1295 + ipamorelin blend: contents and what is known
In short
CJC-1295 + ipamorelin is a peptide blend sold online that sellers declare to contain CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin. The combination has not been studied in humans: we found no published study in which the two were given together.
- Of seven sellers, six declare CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin as the parts, most often 5 mg of each in a 10 mg vial. The contents have not been tested by an independent laboratory [2]E, not peer-reviewed.
- The parts have small human studies, but they concern CJC-1295 with DAC [3]A and ipamorelin given alone [5]A [6]B. There is no peer-reviewed human study of the form sold without DAC [8].
- The idea of combining two different pathways rests on the finding that GHRH and GHRP-2 together raised men's growth hormone more than either alone [7]B. This blend itself has not been studied.
- We could not confirm a review's claim of a mouse study of the combination [9]: in the rat study we found, ipamorelin was given with a glucocorticoid, not with CJC-1295 [11]C.
- Both parts are on annex 1 A of Finland's medicines list, and in sport they are banned at all times [15, 16]regulator.
What is the CJC-1295 + ipamorelin blend?
The seller declares the composition as CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin, and the composition has not been independently verified. The contents have not been tested by an independent laboratory, and the seller's declaration does not guarantee them [2]E, not peer-reviewed.
CJC-1295 + ipamorelin is a blend of two peptides that act on growth hormone release, in one vial. On the product pages of seven sellers (15 Oct 2026), six declared CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin as the parts. One seller did not say which form of CJC-1295 it was. Six declared equal amounts of both, most often 5 mg + 5 mg in a 10 mg vial, and one also sold the same pair as a nasal spray [2]E, not peer-reviewed. Sellers are not named or linked.
The parts come from different groups of substances:
- CJC-1295 is a modified version of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). In the original studies it carried an added part that attaches it to albumin in the blood and prolongs its effect [12]C. This part is called DAC [8].
- Without DAC, the substance sold lacks this part. It is also called Mod GRF 1-29, and there are no peer-reviewed human studies of it [8].
- Ipamorelin is a five-amino-acid peptide that releases growth hormone in the same way as the GHRP peptides [4]C. Its receptor is also called the ghrelin receptor [5]A.
The only seller of a TITAN blend known to us declares these two plus other substances as its parts: TITAN blend. On blends in general: Peptide blends: what is in the vial and why the seller's declaration is not enough. All blends: Blends. Basics: What are peptides?. All substances: Peptides A-Z.

What is the combination of CJC-1295 and ipamorelin studied for?
Nothing: the combination has no approved use and no human trial of it has been registered (as of 15 Oct 2026). Neither part has a marketing authorisation in the EU [17]regulator.
- Studied as single substances: CJC-1295 with DAC for raising growth hormone and IGF-1 in healthy adults [3]A, ipamorelin for restoring bowel function after bowel surgery [5]A.
- Online claims: according to a review, the combination is used in physique enhancement to boost growth hormone release. The practice rests mainly on anecdotal reasoning, and controlled evidence of synergy or of body composition changes in healthy people is limited [8].
How do CJC-1295 and ipamorelin work together?
The parts act through two different pathways, but their combined effect has not been measured. CJC-1295 binds to the GHRH receptor of the pituitary [12]D, and ipamorelin acts on another, the receptor of the GHRP peptides [4]D. Both make the pituitary release growth hormone [3]A [6]B.
Behind the combination is the finding that growth hormone-releasing hormone and a GHRP peptide together have a larger effect than either alone. In a study, 47 men received GHRH and GHRP-2 into a vein at the same time. The synergy was weaker in older men and in those with more abdominal visceral fat [7]B. The study did not use CJC-1295 or ipamorelin.
In pigs, ipamorelin did not raise ACTH or cortisol significantly more than GHRH did [4]C. The effect of the combination on these or other hormones has not been studied in humans.
Has the combination of CJC-1295 and ipamorelin been studied in humans?
No. There is no published or registered human study in which CJC-1295 and ipamorelin were given together (as of 15 Oct 2026). The publications that mention both are reviews and one doping-test method developed in horses.
What is known about the parts separately
The following results concern the single substances, not the blend.
- CJC-1295 with DAC (2006). In two randomised, placebo-controlled trials in healthy 21- to 61-year-olds, a single injection raised growth hormone 2- to 10-fold for at least six days and IGF-1 1.5- to 3-fold for 9 to 11 days. No serious adverse reactions were reported [3]A.
- CJC-1295 without DAC. According to a review, there is not a single controlled study in humans. Claims about its effects are extrapolated from related substances, mainly sermorelin [8].
- Ipamorelin in healthy men (1999). Eight men at each of five dose levels received ipamorelin into a vein. Growth hormone was released at every dose as a single burst [6]B.
- Ipamorelin in surgical patients (2014). In a phase 2 trial, 114 of 117 bowel surgery patients were analysed. The median time to the first tolerated meal was 25.3 hours with ipamorelin and 32.6 hours with placebo, but the difference was not statistically significant [5]A.
Since the amounts and purity of the blend's parts have not been independently verified, these studies say nothing about the blend's effects.
Where the mouse study claim comes from
According to the abstract of a 2026 review, CJC-1295 combined with ipamorelin improved muscle strength in mice whose muscle loss had been induced with a glucocorticoid [9]. We know of no such published mouse study.
The closest study we found is a rat study from 2001. Female rats received a glucocorticoid, ipamorelin or both for three months, and the maximum contraction force of the calf muscles was significantly greater in the combination group than in rats given the glucocorticoid alone [11]C. "Combination" there meant the glucocorticoid and ipamorelin. CJC-1295 was not used.
A second 2026 review repeats the same claim in almost the same words, but the publication it cites as the source is about dengue fever in Sri Lanka [10]. We cannot confirm which study the first review refers to. We consider the claim of a mouse study of the combination unconfirmed.
Promising, but so far only in animals
This finding concerns one part of the blend, not the blend. It has not been tested in humans, and animal results cannot be transferred directly to people.
-
Muscle and bone loss caused by glucocorticoids no human studies
In rats given a glucocorticoid for three months, ipamorelin given at the same time increased the maximum contraction force of the calf muscles and quadrupled bone formation on the outer bone surface compared with the glucocorticoid alone [11]C.
If it held in humans: ipamorelin might reduce the loss of muscle strength and bone caused by long-term cortisone treatment.
Why it might not translate: the study was done in female rats, and the substance was injected under the skin several times a day for three months [11]C. In the only treatment trial of ipamorelin in humans, it was given into a vein for at most a week and did not differ from placebo [5]A. CJC-1295 was not included, so the result does not apply to the blend.
Evidence now: one rat study from 2001 [11]. No human trial of this use has been registered (as of 15 Oct 2026).
Who is researching the combination of CJC-1295 and ipamorelin?
No one, as far as we know. No study using both substances has been registered (as of 15 Oct 2026). CJC-1295 was developed by the Canadian company ConjuChem [12]C, and ipamorelin was described by researchers at the Danish company Novo Nordisk in 1998 [4]C. The most recent publications that mention both are reviews [8, 9, 10, 18]. Other guides: Guides.

How long do the blend's parts stay in the body?
Little is known about how long the parts last, and the duration of the form the blend most likely contains has not been measured in humans. The half-life of CJC-1295 with DAC was 5.8 to 8.1 days in healthy adults [3]A, but sellers declare the form in the blend as without DAC [2]E, not peer-reviewed, and there is no study of its duration in humans [8].
The half-life of ipamorelin was about 2 hours in healthy men, and the growth hormone peak came at about 40 minutes [6]B. The two substances may therefore last very differently in the body, and how they behave in the same injection has not been studied.
What are the harms of the CJC-1295 and ipamorelin blend?
There is no research data on the harms of the blend, because it has not been studied. According to Fimea, there is no reliable information on the content, quality and safety of products sold as peptides, and their effect on the body can be unpredictable [1]regulator.
What users report. In the Reddit accounts we compiled (not research), 60 of 84 people (71%) reported some harm, most often: flushing or head rush after the shot (23, 27%), allergic reaction, hives or rash (13, 15%) and sleep problems (12, 14%). People tend to post when something goes wrong, so this share does not tell how common harms are. The figures are about CJC-1295 and ipamorelin used together, as a ready-made blend or at the same time, not about either one on its own, and the products' contents were not verified. 33 people (39%) also used other substances at the same time. The harms in detail: CJC-1295 + ipamorelin blend user experiences.
Known risks of the parts
- FDA has identified serious adverse events associated with CJC-1295, such as increased heart rate and a systemic vasodilatory reaction, and considers the clinical data limited [14]regulator.
- According to FDA, a published study identified serious adverse events, including death, when ipamorelin was given into a vein [14]regulator. In the surgical patient trial, some adverse event occurred in 87.5% of those given ipamorelin and 94.8% of those given placebo [5]A.
- According to a review, users of peptides acting on the growth hormone axis have reported prolactin and cortisol elevations, appetite changes, blood sugar disturbances, fluid retention, muscle and joint pain and injection-site reactions [8].
- In injectable products, impurities introduced during manufacture, such as endotoxins, raise the risk of serious harm [1]regulator.
What users report (anecdote, not research)
In the CJC-1295 accounts, 58 of 77 writers also used ipamorelin, and in the ipamorelin accounts 46 of 77 writers used CJC-1295. Each set includes one account of tongue swelling after an injection that was treated in the emergency department. The accounts cannot show which substance, or what else, caused the symptom. The accounts: CJC-1295 user experiences and ipamorelin user experiences.

Interactions and who has no data
Interactions with other medicines have not been studied, neither for the blend nor for its parts. The human studies of the parts were done in healthy adults [3]A [6]B and in bowel surgery patients [5]A, so there are no data on pregnancy or breastfeeding, children or people with chronic illness. According to a review, users of peptides acting on the growth hormone axis have reported blood sugar disturbances [8], so use alongside diabetes medicines cannot be considered studied.
What speaks against it and what is unknown
There is not a single human study of the combination's benefits, and the only animal result claimed for the combination may rest on a misreading, because the study we found did not use CJC-1295 [9, 10] [11]C.
Counter-evidence
- In the only published treatment trial of ipamorelin, it did not differ from placebo in the primary or secondary efficacy measures [5]A.
- There is not a single peer-reviewed human study of CJC-1295 sold without DAC, and according to a review its claimed effects are extrapolated from other substances [8].
- The synergy of GHRH and GHRP was weaker in older men and in those with more abdominal visceral fat [7]B.
- According to a 2026 scoping review covering six peptides, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin among them, the claimed benefits of these peptides for muscle and tissue recovery are not supported by human trials, and the documented risks include cardiovascular complications and insulin resistance [18].
What the evidence does not support
- "The combination has been studied and synergy proven": it has not. Synergy has been shown with other substances given as an infusion into a vein [7]B, not with this blend.
- "The combination improved muscle strength in an animal study": in the study we found, ipamorelin was given with a glucocorticoid, without CJC-1295 [11]C.
- "The blend builds muscle or burns fat": this has not been studied with either part in healthy people [8].
- "The vial contains what the label says": according to Fimea, an unauthorised product may contain a different substance from the one stated on the package [1]regulator.
It is also unknown whether the parts keep as well in the same vial as separately, and what raising growth hormone and IGF-1 this way does in the long term.
Dosage of the CJC-1295 and ipamorelin blend in studies
The blend has no approved or studied dosage, because it has not been studied and neither part has a marketing authorisation [17]regulator. The milligram amounts declared by sellers describe the vial's content, not a dose [2]E, not peer-reviewed. The blend itself has no dose page of its own.
The study doses of the single substances are on their dose pages: CJC-1295 and ipamorelin. They concern CJC-1295 with DAC given under the skin and ipamorelin given into a vein in supervised studies, not the blend, and they are not recommendations [3, 5]A. Doses of the form sold without DAC have not been studied in humans [8]. Unit conversions for the single substances: CJC-1295 calculator and ipamorelin calculator; there is no calculator for the blend. Doses of other substances: Dosing.
Blend vs the parts separately: what is the difference?
In terms of research evidence, the blend is weaker than either part on its own. CJC-1295 with DAC and ipamorelin have small human studies [3, 5]A, but the blend has none.
- Form of CJC-1295: the form studied in humans was the DAC form [3]A. The blend's sellers declare the form without DAC [2]E, not peer-reviewed.
- Route: ipamorelin was given into a vein in the studies [5]A [6]B. The blend is sold as a freeze-dried powder and as a nasal spray [2]E, not peer-reviewed.
- Ratio: sellers usually declare equal amounts of both [2]E, not peer-reviewed. There is no research basis for this ratio.
- Traceability: if a symptom appears, there is no way to know which substance caused it.
Hexarelin, tesamorelin, GHRP-6 and MK-677 also act on the growth hormone axis, as does the IGF-1 analogue IGF-1 LR3, which has no human studies [8]. The hexarelin page explains what has been studied on combining GHRH and a GHRP: hexarelin and CJC-1295.
Situation in the United States
In the United States, FDA has placed ipamorelin acetate among the bulk drug substances for compounding that may present significant safety risks (category 2). FDA mentions the risk of immune reactions and that ipamorelin contains unnatural amino acids, which makes the substance harder to characterise. CJC-1295 was in the same category until the nominator withdrew the nomination; FDA's risk description is still on the page (updated 22 Apr 2026) [14]regulator.
Is the CJC-1295 + ipamorelin blend legal in Finland?
The blend has no marketing authorisation, and both of its parts are on annex 1 A of Finland's medicines list, whose substances are controlled as medicines [15, 17]regulator.
- Medicines list. Annex 1 A of Fimea's decision 230/2025, which covers drug analogues and prohormones classified as medicines, names "CJC-1295 and CJC-1295 DAC" and ipamorelin [15]regulator.
- Marketing authorisation. EMA's medicine data (14 Oct 2026) contain no product with CJC-1295 or ipamorelin [17]regulator.
- Fimea's warning of 29 Jun 2026. Fimea warned against injectable peptides bought online and named CJC-1295 and ipamorelin as examples. Fimea advises not to order injectable peptides from online shops or through social media. A "for research use only" label means the product is not intended for humans [1]regulator.

This is not legal advice. Disclaimer.
Is CJC-1295 + ipamorelin doping?
Yes. On WADA's 2026 Prohibited List, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin are named in group S2.2.4, growth hormone releasing factors, whose substances are banned at all times, also out of competition [16]regulator. In a blend it is enough that one part is banned.
Products seized by Danish customs contained forms of ipamorelin and modified GRF 1-29 with one added amino acid. The researchers say doping-test methods need updating because of them [13]D.
How can you judge the quality of a CJC-1295 + ipamorelin product?
There is no certainty about a product's content without independent analysis. Powders seized by Danish customs contained forms of ipamorelin and modified GRF 1-29 with an extra glycine amino acid added at the start [13]D. A buyer therefore cannot tell from the label whether the vial holds exactly the molecule declared.
A certificate of analysis (COA) for the blend should identify each part separately by mass spectrometry (MS), state the amount of each and cover the same batch as the vial. It should also say whether the CJC-1295 is with or without DAC, because they are different substances [8]. According to FDA, the unnatural amino acids of ipamorelin make it harder to characterise [14]regulator. More: How to read a COA and check a test result. Handling: Mixing and handling.
FAQ
What does the CJC-1295 + ipamorelin blend contain?
Sellers declare the composition as CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin, most often 5 mg of each in a 10 mg vial [2]E, not peer-reviewed. The composition has not been independently verified.
Has the combination of CJC-1295 and ipamorelin been studied in humans?
No. There is no published or registered study in which they were given together (as of 15 Oct 2026). The principle of synergy has been studied with other substances [7]B.
Why are CJC-1295 and ipamorelin combined?
Because they act on growth hormone release through different receptors [4, 12]D, and in humans GHRH and a GHRP together have a larger effect than either alone [7]B. According to a review, the practice still rests mainly on anecdotal reasoning [8].
Does the blend build muscle?
Unknown. The effect of either part on muscle has not been studied in healthy people [8], and the blend has not been studied at all.
What happens when use stops?
Unknown. Stopping has not been studied with the blend or its parts. With repeated doses of CJC-1295 with DAC, IGF-1 stayed above baseline for up to 28 days [3]A, but the blend is declared to contain the form without DAC [2]E, not peer-reviewed.
Who should not use the blend?
This has not been studied. The studies of the parts included healthy adults and surgical patients [3, 5]A, so there are no data on pregnancy, breastfeeding, children or chronic illness.
Future: are studies of the combination coming?
Not as far as we know. No study using CJC-1295 and ipamorelin together has been registered (as of 15 Oct 2026).
Is the blend legal in Finland?
It has no marketing authorisation, and both parts are on annex 1 A of the medicines list [15, 17]regulator. Fimea warns against injectable peptides bought online and names both [1]regulator. This is not legal advice.
Is the blend doping?
Yes. Both parts are in group S2.2.4 of WADA's Prohibited List, and they are banned at all times [16]regulator.
