What points the other way or is uncertain

Gastrointestinal effects rise with the dose: in placebo-controlled type 2 diabetes trials they occurred in 37.1% (5 mg), 39.6% (10 mg) and 43.6% (15 mg) versus 20.4% on placebo, and 3.0%, 5.4% and 6.6% stopped treatment because of them (placebo 0.4%) [1]official.

When tirzepatide was switched to placebo after 36 weeks, weight rose by 14.0% on average over the next 52 weeks, while it fell by 5.5% in those who continued (SURMOUNT-4, 670 participants) [2]A.
